About Me

I am a Pastor's wife, and we have two beautiful red headed children.

Both of my children were hospital births and each was an experience that made me grow monumentally in my ideology of the birthing process and motherhood.

I attended my first birth outside of my own in 2004, but not until recently did I feel the need to start working as a doula professionally.

I am currently working on my certification with Childbirth International.

My experiences have shown me how strong  women can be and really made me appreciate the design of a woman's body.

I believe that our bodies are designed for labor and childbirth. I am appreciative of the advancement of many helpful procedures offered to assist women through a miraculous experience, although I believe women should be given the power to birth with the natural flow of their bodies.

Although some circumstances do call for medication and interventions, these decisions need to be made judiciously. In the end, I hope to be non-judgmental about your personal birth choices.

I aim to be an advocate for parents and provide unbiased information in order to make the educated decisions on the plans for their birth and prepare them for unexpected outcomes.
